Saturday in San Fran

On the next day of our trip we were in San Francisco all day. I think we did everything there was to do in San Francisco on this trip. We went with my Auntie Marlis and cousins, Gary & Meg and had a very eventful day.

We visited Ghiradelli square, rode the cable cars, visited Union Square, Lombard Street, Fisherman's Wharf, and China town.

We were walking all over the place and some of us were getting tired. We were waiting at a cable car stop when a white stretch limo pulled up and asked us if we wanted a ride back to Fisherman's wharf - boy, was it our lucky day...we all hopped right in!

Later in the afternoon we went to the Buena Vista, where the first American Irish Coffee was made - great atmosphere. I wasn't too fond of the whiskey, but it was fun to try..here is my mom and dad with foam mustaches..

Later that night we celebrated my Dad's birthday at the Stinking Rose since my dad is a big garlic fan - everything was sooo delicious and we all definitely smelled like garlic afterwards.
