First Camping Trip

Still working on doing some catching up, but definitely wanted to share pictures from Paige's first camping trip. We went for a weekend up to Pt Mugu - Sycamore Canyon at the end of September. It was a beautiful camp site about a 5 minute walk from the beach. It was perfect weather and we had great company..

Paige enjoyed everything about camping! Even doing dishes in the camping sink!:)

We made so many yummy things to eat including pineapple upside down cake in the solar ovens that my dad made - YUM!

Setting up the tent. Paige slept so well in the tent and was great about being tucked in there by herself each night and we later joined her. She was exhausted after such busy days. On the second day she actually feel asleep on my lap at the campfire:)

Check it out! Ada, my dad, and Brian are all up in the awesome Sycamore Tree that we had at our campsite.

We even set up a movie theater! It felt a little wrong watching a movie while camping, but it was definitely cool! Kids came over from other campsites and we ended up watching Monsters, Inc. Matt brough the projector and we made the screen from a sheet. It worked great!

Paige LOVED riding her bike all around the camp grounds. There were so many kids riding their bikes and scooters all over the place..very fun!

PawPaw and Tutu even came for a visit on Saturday and

came down to the beach with us with Lemar (their dog)

I didn't get nearly enough pictures of our time there. Matt & Stephanie were there with baby Sammmy and they brought their RV, which worked really well for them.

Pepe  & Gigi were there and Auntie Janice, and Unclue Ralph.

It was a great camping weekend. Busy and relaxing - perfect!
