Baby's First Valentine's Day

What a day?!? 

Since this is Paige's first Valentine's Day we had to show her what it was all about...LOVE!!

We started off with heart shaped french toast for breakfast - mini ones for Paige:) She scarfed these down!

We then let Paige open her little Valentine's gifts we had picked out for her. Since her favorite things right now are books and dogs we combined the two and she got a theme gift (Puppy Love). She screamed (she is such a screamer right now) every page she turned and saw a new puppy face - it was very exciting!

Adam and I are just excited to have new books because if we have to read "Where's Spot?" one more time, I really think we may go crazy. We keep hiding the book, but somehow Paige finds it and brings it out to read. 

We then headed to Toy R Us. Paige has never been there before and we needed one more gate for our house with little miss turbo boost heading for the stairs these days. When we got there we found the pool that Paige knew she wanted for this summer on clearance (they must be making anew model or something). Anyways, we picked it up and since we were having weather in the low 80's today we decided what better than a Valentine's Day pool party!!

Paige loved splashing around in her butterfly pool (which can also be a sandbox later:)

So nice to be out in the sun. I don't think poor Paige will ever be one to get a tan, as she takes after me in the color department.

"Hello Everyone!" 

After this we took a nice walk around the neighborhood to soak up some more sun and then headed back for a nap -Paige got a nap while I prepared a nice Valentine's Day dinner for the family. 

Paige could get used to eating by candlelight:)

Here is a fun video clip of the "pool party" There are a couple of shots where Paige's bottom is right in the camera (sorry about those), but this video definitely shows Paige's crazy, wild girl personality right now. 

The first part where she is "rockin' out" is how she is about 80% of the time right now - a total wild one!!
