Kim planned a surprise visit to join her college roommates for a Girls' Weekend, so that made this a Dad's weekend with the kids.
On Friday we had to wake up very early to get Mommy to the airport for her flight. Paige slept most of the way to LAX, then woke up and played with her toys in her car seat for the ride back home. Too bad we couldn't stay to watch Mommy get on the airplane and take off -- Paige is very into airplanes these days!
Paige had been teething the past week, so her teething rings got plenty of use.
We were lucky to have nice weather all weekend. One, because it meant we could play outside:
But we were also outside a lot because Paige had to "ride along" for all of Molly's walks. Of course, it was still chilly 50s for our morning walks, so Paige got to wear her warm bunny hat and mittens.
Paige and I had a fun time together, but it's a lot of work to keep up with Paige while she's awake, and try to do everything else while she's napping. Paige liked to wave at pictures of Mommy and talk to her on speakerphone every day, and we were both so happy to have her back home after her fun weekend away.
