Big Bear

We were so happy to get a chance to head up to the mountains this past weekend. There was not much snow up there, but it sure was nice to just get away and relax and hang out together.

Grammy & Grumpy went too and it was a lot of fun.

We drove up on Friday and headed to the Big Bear Zoo soon after we arrived. They had a lot of great animals there and we learned a lot from the zookeepers since we were there during feeding time.

Here is the small amount of snow that we had behind the cabin. It was pretty much just ice, but Paige played in it for probably two hours Saturday morning. Our expert snow builder (Daddy) made an igloo and Paige's dollies liked to make it their home.

The igloo was taller than Paige (who has just had a big growth spurt:)

Here we are headed up the ski lift to rid on the Alpine Slide. Paige was so brave and loved looking down and going up the mountain. (I was brave too!)

On Sunday morning we got a few snow flurries and Paige liked running around trying to eat them all.

What a great trip to Big Bear! We might try and go back later this season when there is more snow....
