Paige is 3

Paige is 3 and she is just the most amazing little person ever! She is just so much fun to be around, talk with, and play with. I sure hope that this is what being 3 is like. She is so sweet, kind, polite, and thoughtful. She is extremely creative and such a fast learner. She is a joy!

For her birthday, we had a total dog theme. It is no secret that Paige has always loved dogs and, while usually, I try not encourage this "obsession", I decided that for her birthday we should just go with what she loves. 

Her celebration started on Friday when she got to take "pupcakes" and little "doggy bags" into school for all her friends. She got to wear a birthday crown all day at school and they had a party in the class for her as well. What a special day?!?! (As a side note, I had the craziest week at work this week and my mom was awesome! I recruited her help in baking these cupcakes and helping me put the bags together while she was at our house on Thursday for her Grammy day. What would I did without her??:)

Here is Paige Friday morning all set to take her goodies in to school.

On Saturday was her actual birthday and we did a little celebrating on our own (as well as all of the fun last minute party prep for the next day - see next post:) 

Paige got to open up some of her gifts on this day from us and from Matt and Stephanie.....and baby Sammy!!! (Samantha was born on April 19th and we are just so excited for the Curtis Family - Can't wait to meet her!!)

Two weeks ago Paige and I were able to drive up to Matt & Stephanie's new place and help set up Samantha's room before her arrival. We had a great time and Paige thought Stephanie's house was the coolest. She got to watch Lady and the Tramp there for the first time and, of course, loved it.

Later that evening we took Paige out for a birthday dinner at, what else, but Lay Dog Cafe! It was awesome. She got to bring two of her puppies there, there are pictures of dogs everywhere, and even little bone shaped mints which Paige fed to her dogs.

Here is Paige showing the collar she made.This is the coolest thing! While you wait for your food they bring the kids a licorice rope and Froot Loops that you string on to make a dog collar!:)

Of course, she got a special birthday treat:)

Yep, she liked it! Great birthday and really can't believe what a wonderful little 3 year old we have been blessed with:)
