On Sunday, March 8th a beautiful baby shower was given in preparation for Paige's arrival. It was held at my Aunt Janice's house..here is a picture of the set up crew and those responsible for all of the lovely details.

My sister is not in this picture, but she planned all the games...
We played the baby powder game where you try to guess what white substance you are looking at ......
Here is Mary Anne - the big winner of the baby powder game..
We also played the game where everyone had to make a baby out of play-doh and then I had to pick the winning baby...

My dad made a beautiful felt board that we can hang over Paige's changing table...we can change out the felt cut outs everyday so that changing diapers becomes something fun for her to look forward to:)
Everyone at the shower brought their favorite book for Paige to have and she has quite the collection now - it will be so meaningful for her to have all of these books with all of the inscriptions inside from everyone who was anticipating her arrival.
Here is Lisa, Stephanie, and I getting ready for the games to begin...we also played Kim's game where you bring out a tray of baby items and have to remember how many items were on the tray. Stephanie won the clothespin game because she could hold the most clothespins with her strangely long fingers:)
So, they say you can never have too many diapers - well, these diaper cakes turned out beautifully and I am dreading the day I have to take them apart to use the diapers.....

It was a hard decision, but the winning baby goes to my cousin Sara - I liked how quiet and peaceful her baby looked as I hope Paige will be the same way:)

Paige received so many wonderful presents and we are overwhelmed with all of the love that everyone has for her before she is even here.
We brought everything home that evening and Molly seems to think that all of the toys, books, clothes, and blankets must be for her...we are definitely going to have some adjusting to do once Paige arrives...:)
Thank you everyone from near and far who showered Paige with so many wonderful gifts...she sure is a lucky girl!
