"ing" and "y" and "green"

Paige just added "ing" words to her vocabulary this week and has begun to say words that end in "y" as well. It is funny (funny is one of her new words) how you don't realize all of the words in the English language that end in "ing" or "y". This sure gives Paige quite a lot more words to say these days...some of her favorite words that end in y are heavy, funny, mommy, daddy, and puppy.

Her favorite "ing" words right now are "shopping", "sweeping", "jumping", & "swimming":)

Here is a little video of Paige from this morning (still in her jammies). We caught her saying "puppy" for the first time on the video and it just sounds so cute. I think she said puppy at least 50 times after that today:)

She also says "shopping" in the video. This morning, we got one of those paper bags that comes with the newspaper where you fill it up and get 20% off of anything you can fit in the bag. We gave it to Paige and told her to go shopping in her kitchen. She did just that! 

   

Oh, little munchkin......you are just so cute with your green broom. 

Paige picked the "green" broom out of box of brooms of all different colors at the swap meet today and said "green". She definitely loves the color green these days...... and loves to sweep. We gave her $2 and she paid for it. Best $2 we have probably ever spent!:)
