Some Miscellaneous Fun!

Here are some recent pictures of some fun outings we have had lately and some fun things we have been up to around the house. We enjoy going on "free field trips" these days. We have so much fun just going to random places in the area and learning things about the world around us.:)

Here we are doing some water painting....very fun....and not too messy!:)

Last week we went to "the big city" (Downtown Orange) and walked all around the street and visited the plaza with the big fountain. We were excited to see that they had already started to set up the flags and banners for the International Street Fair there in less than 2 weeks!!

Last Friday we got together with Kelly & Baby Ryann for a beach play date. Paige and Ryann are 6 months apart and had fun playing together.

It was the perfect spot to splash and play. It was a little harbor so there were no waves and the girls could just go splash in the water just like Paige does in the video below:)

Here is a video of Paige working on making a Froot Loop necklace. We started with Froot Loops, but she just wanted to eat them all, so then we had to switch to using noodles:) She almost got it!!:) 

We went to the Vans Skatepark and watched the skateboarders this past weekend. Paige enjoyed narrating this with her swoosh sound affects and a lot of "ups" and "downs":)

Here Paige is helping mommy bake. She got to lick the whisk and is a real good mixer:)

She is soooo happy playing in the sand and it made it even better that her favorite dog, named "Happy" could come into the sandbox with her. This dog is so heavy and she has to carry it with her everywhere. It talks and you program it to say her name.

Here Paige is at the library. Paige got her own library card this week and checked out her first books.

I got a workout at the library following behind Paige to put all the books back on the shelf that Paige kept grabbing to look at. We did lots of reading there and practiced being quiet at the library:)

 Paige just loves helping with chores around the house. Here she is helping Adam wash his car:)

 

Tonight we went to the park and had such a good time. Paige made some friends there and it was so cute to watch her play with them and try to communicate with them. She was saying "sand" and "choo choo" since there was a train there. It was really sweet. She also loves to play the game where we walk and she puts her hand up and says stop. We have to stop and then she says "go!" and she runs as fast as she can:)
