Trip to the Zoo

 We decided to make a quick trip to the "Monkey Zoo" with Paige Sunday morning and had so much fun. It had rained a lot the past couple days so there were a lot of puddles at the zoo. Paige had just as much fun finding all the puddles and "walking around them" as she did looking at the animals:)

Here are Paige and Adam looking at the Guanaco's (they are a cousin of the llamas). It was funny to hear Paige say Guanaco:)

....we had no idea that we would be riding an elephant today. We turned the corner and saw Becky, the Elephant, and Paige asked if she could ride her. So, we did:) 

You have to understand that these days Paige is very into riding ponies. In fact, when she woke up this morning the first thing we heard her say over the monitor was "Paige ride Dolly again":) (Dolly is the name of the last horse she rode). Paige loves to ride on animals and was very excited to go for a ride on Becky:)

We saw so many other animals too. Lots of birds and monkeys and a very funny looking animal - an anteater!:)

They have a fun barn area at this zoo too and playground. Here is daddy hatching from an egg.
