Easter started out like so many Easter's do in a house with kids...we had to go check out the basket from the Easter Bunny!:)
When we peeked outside we noticed that the Easter Bunny had left trail of bunny prints all the way up to our front door! Paige had fun following the tracks to the bottom and then following them back up to the door:)
Here is Paige checking out all of the wonderful things that the Easter Bunny brought for Paige..lots of fun outdoor toys and books, among other things..
We then had to get ready for our big Easter/ Paige's 2nd Birthday party. We have had so much fun getting ready for it and decorating the house. Paige was very excited that all of her friends and family were coming over.
The Easter Bunny must have known something we didn't. He brought Paige an umbrella, which came in very handy on Easter, since it rained for a lot of the morning.
We weren't going to let a little rain spoil our party
.....there was decorating to do! :)
Our first guest was Grammy who came over to help with some of the last minute details. She brought a fun Easter basket full of wonderful things, including this cute little caterpillar crayon holder. So cute!
We got all of the food set out and were ready for our guests to arrive.:)
Here are our little carrots!:)
When we had a break in the rain we decided to head out for the
Easter egg hunt.
It was a little wet, but the kids had so much fun! There were quite a lot of eggs to find. All the kids had full baskets and there were still more eggs:)
Catie found the first golden egg!!
Auntie Angela and Georgia were visiting from Las Vegas and Georgia
was so nice to help Paige on her Easter egg hunt.
Paige has quite a full basket!:)
Here is Travis with his basket full of eggs.
Kyle found the second golden egg!! One more to go!
Here is little Bella Boo who's 2nd Birthday was the next day. We are glad she got to celebrate with us on Easter. It has been so fun to watch the girls grow up into little toddlers:)
I think this picture is just sooo cute of Paige with her cousins
and their Easter baskets.:)
Paige is ready for her birthday cake.
Grammy made cupcakes....
and mommy made her a bunny cake:)
Paige blowing out her candles:)
...and having a lick of frosting.
I do not know anyone who like cake more than Paige:)
I think she likes that cake usually means party!:)
Although the plan was for everyone to get to play outside, the weather had other plans, so the kids spent a lot of the time in the playroom and were having so much fun!:)
Eventually the weather cleared up enough that we were able to put up the little bounce house. Talk about fun!! All 4 little kids were in here at once and I have never seen a happier bunch. They were rolling all over eachother and having the best time:)
Here is a picture of Paige and Travis eating their lunch together:)
Hiding out under the umbrella to stay dry from the rain. :)
Thank you everyone. We all had such a fun day celebrating with everyone. The best part of the day was definitely just watching the kids have such a good time together. It was a day full of pure joy!
I don't think Paige could have asked for a better 2nd Birthday party and it was so fun to have all of our family and friends over for Easter...

Great decorations!! I'm stealing the carrot utensils next year! Happy birthday to your little girl.
PS- I hate potty training. Hope it's going better for you than it is for us.
Happy Birthday Paige!!!!! Great job on the party Kim (and Adam... although I bet most of the creative credit might go to Kim :))
