Pretend City!

Yesterday Adam and I both took the day off of work and headed out to Pretend City with Paige. Pretend City is a Children's Museum with an entire city built inside where everything is child size and interactive.

Paige was so excited once she got into the swing of things. She kept asking "Mommy, we can touch this?"

Our first stop once inside was the grocery store. Paige loved being able to shop for things on the shelves and put them in her very own basket. She, of course, went straight for the bakery section and filled her basket with cakes.:)

We stopped by the gas station to filler up..

They had tons of little vehicles everywhere that you could hop in at anytime and drive around in the streets. Paige on the tractor heading to the farm..

They had costumes in each of the areas that you could dress up in too. Here is our little cow eating a vegetable she picked in the vegetable garden:)

We then made a visit to the art studio where we painted a fish and made a stamper art project to take home with us - sooo fun!!

Playing hop scotch in the city park.

One stop was an entire house with rooms that had everything kid sized. Here is the kitchen of this house. Paige picked up this dish from off of the counter and said " this is not glass..it's plastic and we can touch it" 

Here Paige is building a house in the construction zone of the city.

She was a little confused with what to do with a level. She saw the bubbles inside and was trying to blow them out:)

Paige loved these statues by the entrance....and talked a lot about the pretend dogs:)

We knew Paige was having fun when she leaned over and said
"This place is cool, Mommy!" :)

She has been very into pretending since our visit. She has named herself "Francie" the puppy:)



What a great place for kids to go play  pretend?!?!
