Our Family Trip to Madison!

It was a cold day in Madison so here is Paige and I all bundled up...shivering:)

The big excitement of visiting Madison was getting to meet up with most of my college roommates and their kids, now that we all have kiddos!! Crazy!

Here I am with Raegan, Larz & Evelyn outside of State Street Brats (Paige did not want to be in this picture) It was so great spending time with all the kids. I have only met them each briefly before.

We made it to the Memorial Terrace and sat in the infamous chairs. I forget how beautiful this place is right on the lake!

We found a great corner booth to take over at State Street Brats and had lunch. The kids were all very well behaved.

Stephanie joined us for lunch too once she left work and met us with baby Jack. This was my first chance to meet him in person and he is such a happy laid back guy.

The next day in Madison we walked up and down State Street some more and headed to see the Capitol.

We sat and had a snack on Bascom Hill. All of the students were sitting out on the hill studying and taking in the sun. In a few months the hill will be covered in snow.

On our way out of town we stopped at Ella's Deli for some yummy food and a carousel ride.

After our trip to Madison we headed back to Milwaukee for a visit to Cousin Gary, Lindsay, and Isaac's house. Paige and Isaac had  lot of fun playing together and it is always good to see each other an catch up.
