Paige was excited to learn that not only does she get a Christmas tree in her house with lights, but she also gets to light a menorah for Chanukah.
On the first night we lit the candle and said that Chanukah prayer and Paige got to open her first Chanuka gift, which she has been having so much fun with. It is a little magnetic farm with animals that is on the fridge that teaches matching and sings songs. I love it!:)
We headed to the mall while we were up in Simi for Chanukah and Paige got to
take her picture next to the Menorah:)
On Sunday night we had our Annual Family Hanukah Celebration at Great Grandma's house.
Here is Paige with Great Grandma checking out her menorah pin.
The dinner was so delicious and we had latkes, yummy crab salad, briscuit, rolls, and green bean casserole. Everyone put applesauce on their latkes and Paige got to have some of her own applesauce too and eat at the table with everyone - all 18 of us!! It would have been 19, but Grammy wasn't feeling well, so she had to miss it and was so sad that she couldn't be there.
Here is the gang saying the Hanukah prayer and lighting all FOUR menorahs. Besides Paige, we had a couple more new people at our celebration this year. Mike, Sara's boyfriend joined us and Stephanie, my brother's grirlfriend was there too and they got to learn all about Hanukah:)
Paige really enjoyed opening all of her Chanukah presents and we have decided that after this she has no more room for any Christmas presents:)
We didn't get to stay to play dreidel since we had to head back and get Paige home as close to her bedtime as we could, but I am sure that was a lot of fun. Paige will really enjoy playing one day!
