Grandma and Grandpa's Christmas Visit! - 2nd Day

Today was another busy day. First stop was Rogers Gardens, to see all of their Christmas displays.

It turned out Santa was here too, but once Paige realized whose lap she was sitting on, she wasn't too pleased. Not a Santa fan yet!

Next we went to Fashion Island. Lunch at the Red Robin, taking in a view of the sun setting into the clouds over the ocean, and admiring the Christmas tree (but avoiding Santa!).

Paige got her first balloon.

And soon it was gone.

After sunset, we headed to the Balboa Peninsula to watch the Newport Beach Boat Parade. There were lots of people, so we had to park way up the street and take a good walk, but we got to see some very impressively lit boats.

Oh, and Grandpa had made sure to spend some time outside in the nice weather and take in a little sunshine today too.
