9 Months Old

9 Months old already!
She is getting to be such a big girl....she looks so different this month with her little teeth and her hair is getting thicker, lighter,  and longer. 

We tried putting shoes on for her 9 month photos and she was very 
interested in these:) Check out this face..

I thought this picture of her standing by her chair depicted her very well at this stage....

There is a lot going on right now with the "catastropic" rains (the news reporter's words, not mine:) we have had here this week and Paige has been sick over the last few days, but is definitely on the up and up. 

Paige eats all kinds of things now and often times eats the same things we eat, just mashed up. We added meat this month and she has tried chicken and turkey. Her favorite thing now seems to be cheese and she likes Cheerios a lot too.

She is getting to be a pretty good cruiser and loves using 
her baby stroller walker.

We very rarely have anymore spit up, so not having to wear a bib everyday has been a real nice change. We also have not used a pacifier at all for about a month now (she was never that into them anyway)...

Things that Paige is into this month:

- Her pink fuzzy bedtime/nap time blanket (we give this to her at nap time and for bedtime and she then knows it is time to snuggle up and get tired)

- Dogs and cats (especially hers, but likes to play with stuffed dogs/cats and look at pictures)

- Dancing & Music

- Looking out the window (she could watch out there for hours) - A big nature lover!

- Taking off her socks (and shoes:)

- "raking" the carpet with her hand - I don't quite get why this is so fascinating:)

- Waving

- Molly's dog dishes (although she knows that she can only look - not touch) It only took a couple of times saying "uh-uh-uh - that's for Molly" and she knows just by the look and tone we use that she is not supposed to touch them or go near Molly while she is eating her food:)

-Playing with balls of any shape, size and texture. We have started to roll them back and forth and she likes to toss them up in there and see them bounce.

- Sitting on every toy she is playing with (I don't get this one either)

- Playing in her pretend kitchen

- Climbing over anything (she is like a tank) and climbing up stairs

- Her "Ten Little Ladybugs" book to play with and "Giggle Baby" book to have read to her.

- Baby dolls

- Spreading out and laying flat on her tummy on the ground

- Playing with plastic hangers, when they are out:)

I wonder what wonderful things we will be

doing and learning this next month??.....:)
