Paige is Three Months

Our little girl has been with us for 3 whole months!!


They have been the best months we have ever had, even if it is a lot of work learning how to take care of a little baby. Paige has exceeded all of our expectations. When we talked about the type of little girl we would want we could have never imagined having such an amazing daughter. She is happy, has a sense of humor, and seems to be very sweet and kind. We can't wait to get to know her more and watch how her personality develops.

She has changed a lot this month and is just so aware of everything around her. It was so funny taking her 3 month photo this time because this time instead of just sitting there she wanted to grab the stuffed animal and kept pushing up with her feet trying to stand in the chair. This made it much more difficult:)

She has just fallen into such an amazing schedule in the last week. She is eating every 2-3 hours, then she plays for a while and then takes a nap and then we do it all over again. We are now taking all of our naps in our crib (when we are home anyway) and we are up to 3 bottles of formula with another to be added shortly. Things certainly are getting easier. Paige is also sleeping through the night very consistently now from about 8:30pm - 6:30am. Paige weighs a little over 12 lbs and is almost 24" long - she sure has done quite a bit of growing!

Paige likes almost everything as of now and has very few dislikes, except for being tired, I guess. She was having a love/hate relationship with her carseat, but even that seems to be getting better. She used to not like being put in it, but lately doesn't seem to mind right now.

Some of her favorite things right now are shiny jewelery, wall clocks, watching her cat and dog, talking to her stuffed animal monkey, being outdoors, going on walks, having conversations with everyone who will listen (and she does demand your attention) and putting everything in her mouth.
She will now actually listen and pay attention to us read an entire book to her, even if she has no clue what we are saying:) Here she is reading "The Pokey Little Puppy"

She even helps with chores around the house - here she is doing her own laundry:)
She definitely loves all things with faces right now and likes to reach out an grab her little doll..She is our little doll and I sure do have fun dressing her every day and deciding what this dolly would like to play with and do.I cannot wait to see what this next month brings..
