Labor Day at the Zoo

We were originally planning on taking Paige to the beach today, but with the crowds we thought it would be best to make other plans, so we decided to go the zoo. When we told Paige of our change in plans she got very excited!:)

We visited the Santa Ana Zoo and even became members for the year, so that we can go back to that zoo, the Santa Barbara Zoo and even the Milwaukee Zoo (when we go back a visit) for free:)

We saw lots of monkeys there and the petting zoo area was fun too. We are not sure if Paige enjoyed the animals or the pinwheel we got for her better:)

 Paige sported an Australian outback look with her hat, so we made sure to visit the wallaby and read all about the wallaby in an Australian accent:)

After walking around for a while, Paige decided it was time for a nap. She fell asleep in the Bjorn (after drooling all over it) and we then put her in her stroller to take a nap while Adam and I enjoyed a nice picnic lunch.

When Paige opened her eyes she was so happy to see that she was still at the zoo. She had some lunch of her own and then we headed back out into the zoo.

We had a great day together and it was a perfect way to spend my last day with my family before I attempt to go back to work full time. 4 days in a row - what will I do?!?:)

We asked Paige if she liked the zoo and she gave us a big thumbs up:) We will definitely be back!
