12 Months Old - One Year Old!!!

We are going to try to get through this post without completely crying our eyes out:) We just can't believe that a year ago we were in the hospital waiting for Paige to arrive. I don't think we had any idea as to how much we could love someone. We have all learned so much from each other over the past year. It is amazing that the Paige we know today is the same baby that we brought home from the hospital. In so many ways, she is the same, but she has also grown so much in so many ways this year.

She is definitely her own little person now and we thought it would be fun for this post just to sum up her personality as we see it now and see if her personality is the same 17 years from now when she turns 18:)

From the get go she was self motivated. She is the one who decided that it was time to come out of mommy's belly and into world, even if it meant kicking her way out!:)

Paige is a very sweet and caring girl and very in tune with others feelings . She is inquisitive and definitely has to think through things before she takes actions. She loves to learn new things and is, of course, very proud of herself when she learns something new. 

Paige is very flexible and adapts very well to change (we have been weaning her from bottles and onto regular milk from formula this past week and all is going well - we just have the dreaded nighttime bottle to go now) 

She is a nature, music, dance, and animal lover. She would literally live outside if she could. I think she will really enjoy concerts in the park this summer:)

A very social person and enjoys watching others and having others involved in what she is doing.

She is very content to just sit and read for lengths of time, although she definitely likes to climb and thinks she can take on anything.

She is a very special girl and with all of these wonderful traits her opportunities are endless and we look forward to sharing with her all the wonderful experiences that will help her to be the best Paige she can be.

What a wonderful year...it just keeps getting more fun!!
