One Year Old Stats

This morning was Paige's one year doctor's appointment. She did so well and the nurse and Dr. Bruner were amazed at how well behaved she was and all that she was doing.

We were surprised to find out that Paige weighed 19 lbs, 10 oz (20th percentile) and her height is 30 inches (80th percentile) Our little Paige is long and lean, huh? Maybe it is those cheeks that throw us off, but her legs are no laughing matter either:)

Paige sure is a wonderful one year old. Can you believe we got through the entire first year without a fever and almost no medicine (one night  I gave her a drop of Tylenol for teething). She has been so healthy so far, slept through the night very early, and is just so easy going. Boy, are we ever fortunate!?!

Some things she loves doing right now are climbing up or on anything, playing with her Little People, bath time, reading, being outside, dancing, swinging, and sliding

She has a few "words" she is saying now: "dyte, dyte" = bye, bye, she says good, girl, dog, ball (although doesn't say this so much anymore), duck,mom, and dad. She can also sign for "more" and "all done".

She is now starting to really play on her own and using her imagination to pretend play with things where she babbles and talks to/for them. 

So much fun to watch!
