Happy Meals & Wine!!

We all had such a great day today. Auntie Janice had purchased a two for one tasting deal at a local winery for Adam and I here in Orange County and along with that came the best gift of all - babysitting!

We dropped Paige off at Auntie Janice's house and she had an entire day planned (and we were only going to be gone a couple hours). Auntie Janice was very ambitious and to our surprise they did it all. Paige and Auntie Janice walked up to the park near her house and played. After that they walked to McDonalds where Paige got her first ever Happy Meal!:) 

They had such a great time together and we were so happy that they got to spend this special time together. We are so grateful, not only for the time that Adam and I got to spend together, but for the opportunity that Paige gets to spend time and do fun things with her Great Grandaunt:)

 Paige was exhausted and took a 3 hour nap in the afternoon - way to go Auntie Janice! :)

While Paige and Auntie Janice were out walking all over Foothill Ranch (where Auntie Janice lives), Adam and I were having our own adventure at Hamilton Vineyards. Here is the website for anyone who lives in the area.

While you're at the winery you don't even feel like you are in Orange County anymore. Adam and I did our wine tasting (and met a lot of fun people) and got to sit on their deck and eat our picnic lunch. It's so nice to get out of the everyday life, if only for a few hours...

The dog in Adam's lap is named Java. He is a winery dog. I LOVE winery dogs!!:)

Pongo is their other dog and he greets you in the driveway and shows you to the door:)

 

Hamilton grows Cabernet grapes here at their vineyard.....Adam and I are trying to decide what type of grapes we should grow in our yard:)
