As I type this Paige is taking a three and a half hour nap from being so wiped out from our very fun, on the go, 4th of July weekend:)
We had great summer weather this weekend and decided to start the weekend off right with a trip to the beach! Well, actually Paige and I started our morning off with a pajama breakfast run. I have been taking Paige on a jog around the neighborhood the past couple Saturdays and she gets to wear her pjs and eat breakfast in her stroller. (It is the only way I can get her excited enough to want to sit in a stroller:) She loves it...and I love starting my weekend off with a little exercise while still spending time with Paige:)
So, anyways, off to the beach we went:)
It is not possible to have a bad time at the beach! We played in the sand a lot!
Adam built a great castle and all the kids at the beach wanted to come help us with our "kingdom":)
On the 3rd of July we started the day off with some much needed car washing. Adam washed his car and Paige washed her car: a vintage 90's Barbie Jeep:)
We then headed to the big Annual 4th of July Bash (which was held on the 3rd of July this year:)
Gigi makes the yummiest breakfast in town...and tha is how the party starts out. It is just one big long day of food and fun!:)
We then headed to the pool for a while. Paige had so much fun there, but has no respect or fear of the water, which is why I will be signing her up for swim lessons first thing! She just wants to swim by herself and doesn't understand that she will sink:(
At least he looks cute!!:)
Paige had a little friend names Braden at the party who was the exact same age as her. That was a fun treat!
Paige ended up falling at the party and got a big booboo (we thought it might have been her teeth), but all looks good for now - poor thing!
On the 4th of July we headed to a parade with some friends. Paige loves parades, even though she has never seen one, so we knew she would love to see all of the horses and marchaing bands..
Here she is with Sally marching down the street. I made tutus for a few of the little girls, including Paige and then Paige insisted that we make one for Sally:)
Here is Travis in all his American Spirit!:)
The only picture we got of the parade - it was pretty cool - there were about a dozen delorians in the parade - a lot of car clubs in the parade and they were really neat!
Here is the best picture I could get of Paige and Travis together:)
We then headed back to Susan, James, & Travis's new house and Paige had SO much fun there. She saw this drum sitting on the ground, walked right over to it, put the strap over her head and started marching all around the house just like she saw in the parade. It would be so cool if Paige ended up being in drumline!!:)
Hereis a little video of Paige from the 4th of July Party. You have to listen carefully, but she sings all of Yankee Doodle. :)
Straight from Facebook, but sums it up nicely...
