Fairs, & Weddings & Swimming....Oh MY!

I am not even quite sure how to catch up on all we have been up to this summer lately, but here is just a post with some pictures from some of the various things we have been to.

The Orange County Fair!!....

Seeing the animals was definitely the best part this year.

Although....the fair food was pretty good too. New this year was the chocolate covered corn dog an fried Kool Aid. Paige and I still love the Krispy Kreme Chicken Sandwich best.

  

....and Paige always loves a good corn on the cob:)

 

We met up with Paige's little friend Ryann too. The girls both won fishes at the fair (Paige named ours Broody....and he is still alive 2 weeks later!), they played a bunch in the sand exhibit, and rode ponies together:)

Swim Lessons... 

Paige has now been to 3 swim lessons and we have already seen improvement. We signed her up after taking her to the pool and learning that she has no fear (respect) for the water. We plan to take her every week from now on. They are teaching her how to float on her back and she can now already put her face under and has learned to keep her mouth closed. Ms. Kerry is a very good teacher and Paige goes right to her. I think Paige will do a lot more learning with Ms. Kerry telling her what to do instead of her parents;)

Wedding for Emily & Michael....

Emily is one of my friends from high school and even before and I am so happy for her because she found the perfect man for her.

The ceremony was perfect and the reception was just something out of a movie....

The reception site cannot be explained in words...it was just gorgeous and all of the details of the wedding were perfect. The place where the reception was held had white tigers, alpacas, talking macaws and many other animals we could visit.

Concerts in the Park...

We have gone to a couple Concerts in the Park so far this year. They are always so much fun to pack a picnic dinner and just spend time as a family. This past week we met Alex, Jenn, & Bella there for 80's night.

Story Time a the Zoo... 

This past Friday Adam met Alex and Bella at the Toddler Story time at the Zoo. It sounds like they had a good time and will be going to more of these on their Fridays together.:)
