Our first night away

My big present for my 30th birthday from my parents was Adam and I's first night away just to ourselves. You really don't realize how much you need time together until you get it:)
We stayed in a hotel up in Ventura and enjoyed going to the beach, shopping, and eating our dinner slowly:) On Sunday morning we woke up, had breakfast, and then we were ready to come back and see Paige:)

While we were away Paige enjoyed staying with her Grammy and Grumpy..

Paige had so many great new toys waiting for her to play with like this cool Boppy Mobile thing and her playpen to keep her up and away from the dogs, and a new stroller!!:) Oh...and she just loves this soft pink blanket that they have for her there:)Paige loved looking at this spinny yard decoration, I guess, so we have been on the look out for one ourselves:)

Here she is hanging out with Grammy....In this picture I think she really resembles pictures of Adam when he was little..Adam had blonde hair when he was little and Paige's hair is starting to come in much lighter.

On Saturday morning she had a playdate at my mom's good friend Rania's house to play with Clementine, (another of my mom's good friends Hannah's baby) Does that make sense?:) Anyways, it sounds like they had a great time hanging out by the pool..

....and here is Paige and Clementine (they are about a month apart) We get a kick out of this picture with the way Paige has her hands. She is definitely going to take after her Grammy and talk with her hands:)

Paige enjoyed bath time at Grammy & Grumpy's house and slept real well in her crib there. My dad would get up with Paige in the morning and take her on her walks in the morning. They walked to Pep Boys, the grocery store, and around the neighborhood so that he could show her off:)

We decided to head back from our trip away around lunchtime on Sunday and stopped by Tutu & PawPaw's house so that we could see Ashley, Luis, and Georgia before they left. My parents and Heather and Brian had gone over there too. Well, not even two minutes after we walked in the door, we heard Paige screaming from the backyard. She had been stung by a bee:( It was so sad and we were all nervous to see if she was allergic to the sting or not. The only good thing that came from it is that we now know she is not allergic to bee stings:)
